Spring M&M Pretzel Treats
I realized I’ve posted these little treats on my blog, not once, not twice, but three times already. But they’re seriously so simple and delicious, I decided it was ok to post them again.
I was at CVS yesterday browsing through the 50% off Easter candy when the M&Ms caught my eye. I had some almond bark in the pantry so I instantly thought of these treats. The last time I was home in the Midwest, I stocked up on almond bark at the grocery store. I haven’t been able to find it in the Boston area anywhere. The Wilton candy melts work ok, but I definitely prefer using almond bark.
These are perfect for spring and we’ll be taking them this weekend when we visit Hubby’s family.

Pretzel M&M Treats
Yield: ~120
Ingredients:
1/2 lb mini-pretzels
1 big bag of M&Ms
1 packages of Almond Bark or 1 bags of Wilton candy melts (white)
Directions:
Line 2 cookie sheets with waxed paper. Lie pretzels (flat side down) on the waxed paper. They can be very close to each other.
Melt almond bark/candy melts according to the directions on the package. Using a spoon, scoop some of the melted almond bark into the holes of the pretzels OR using a squeeze bottle, squeeze melted candy into holes of pretzels.
This look absolutely FABULOUS! 🙂 I love oreo’s… They could quite possibly be my favorite snack food.! I’m defientely adding this recipe to my collection of cakes to bake! Thanks for sharing.

This looks AMAZING! What did you use to hold the Oreos in place on the top? Is that Oreo filling?
Love this cake – made it for my hubby’s 30th! Just a quick question as I had a little trouble with the Oreo filling. It was a bit thin. I think the problem might be the type of cream I used as we don’t have heavy cream in Australia (at least it’s not called heavy cream) so does anyone know what type of cream I should use? Thanks heaps 🙂
This cake turned out amazing! I omitted the coffee from the frosting and it was perfect without but im sure it would have been prefect with. It was a process to make it but well worth it! Just as good if not better than a bakery cake!

It definitely takes a little bit of extra effort, but it’s so worth it!
What size pkg of Oreos? I just came home with one that only has 3 rows, ugh? It’s 14.3 oz. is that the same size? Thanks!!

Did that work for you? I will have to check next time I am at the store. I just get the standard size with 3 rows.
