Recap of Last Year’s Side Dishes
Here are some side dishes that have been very memorable. Never underestimate a good side dish. It can really bring a whole meal together.
I can’t even count how many times I have made this Butternut Squash and Spinach Casserole. It serves quite a few people, so it’s great for potlucks and dinner parties. It also reheats well and is healthy!

If you are looking for a delicious ooey-gooey Mac and Cheese recipe, look no further. I served this at our SuperBowl party and it was quite a success.

We love anything roasted. When you add a quick and easy marinade, you can transform plain old potatoes into these Roasted Potatoes.

Again with the roasting. Roasting Asparagus is my favorite way to prepare asparagus and we were eating this almost daily for a while…

And last but not least, this Fire Roasted Ketchup is good on everything. It takes zero effort and time and you’ll be blown away by the flavor.

I am Jen the Beantown Baker. Engineer by day and baking maven by night. Hubby serves as my #1 fan and official taste tester. We got hitched back in 2006. Barefoot. In the sand. With the waves crashing behind us. It was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.

i grew up on boiled vegetables and soggy potatoes (blech) so when i grew up and started roasting everything to crispiness, it was a revelation
Butternut squash and spinach casserole? Yes, please! I love the beautiful colors too!
That is a good point about side dishes bringing a meal together. I have been trying to be better about including them in my weekly menu planning.
The butternut squash and spinach casserole sounds like perfection!! Definitely going to try that soon
Sues
I made the butternut squash and spinach casserole last year, and it was FANTASTIC. It makes a ton, too! Wow, it was so good, I can’t wait to make it again.
I’ve made your fire roasted ketchup twice this summer, it is awesome! So easy and so tasty, it really adds pizzaz to burgers.
Thanks so much for all you do!
