Reader’s Choice for 2010

I’ve been loving seeing everyone’s best of 2010 posts this week. I decided to highlight the recipe that got the most hits for each month in 2010. Hope you enjoy!

January: I kicked off the year by featuring our kitchen renovation. This Spice Rack is one of my favorite parts of our kitchen and gets the most comments!

February: MMMmmm… Chocolate… This cake is out of this world. With a layer of brownie, chocolate mousse, and then chocolate cake all covered in chocolate ganache, how could you go wrong with this Chocolate Overdose Cake

March: These Layered Marshmallow Brownies started out too sweet for me. But in the end, they were amazing.

April: These Oreo Cupcakes will always hold a special place in my heart. They are hands down, our favorite cupcake recipe in the Beantown Baker household. (BTW, I have to brag for a minute, but if you Google Oreo Cupcake, guess what shows up as the first link? How cool is that?)

May: Homemade Ding Dongs were kind of a pain to make, but man were they amazing!

June: Chocolate chips? check. Cookie Dough? check. Cheesecake? check. Enough said. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cheesecake Bars

July: Homemade Pita Bread is so simple to make and so delicious. Make it in 2011 if you didn’t get around to it in 2010.

August: This Watermelon and Cucumber Salad is so light and refreshing, Hubby and I just couldn’t get enough of it!

September: Homemade Oatmeal Creme Pies taste just like you remember from your middle school lunch box, except they’re about a thousand times better.

October: Back in October, I made some candy at home. These Three Musketeer Bars are awesome straight out of the freezer.

November: Apparently, a lot of people were looking for a simple Cranberry Sauce recipe for Thanksgiving this year. We love this recipe and I make a batch about once a week in the fall.

December: No surprise here, this Red Velvet Cheesecake Cake is beautiful and delicious.

Thanks for hosting, Jen! And for the kick in the pants to get over my fear of yeast 🙂 What a fun challenge.
