Happy August and some Giveaway Winners!

Can you guys believe it’s August already? Where is this year going?!?

I have a few exciting things to announce. First of all, I have a winner for the Small Batch cookbook – Congratulations Ashley from Ashley’s Cooking Adventures

Second, thanks to the generous donations from you guys, we reached a $50 donation to both of my friends for their Avon Walk fundraising! That means that I’ll match your donations and donate $50 to each of them. And my company will match my donation which means the original $50 will turn into $150 for each of them! You guys are the best. And, one lucky reader who donated will win a box of goodies from yours truly. That lucky winner is Aiko!

Ashley and Aiko, please email me so we can work out the details of your prize. If I haven’t heard from the winners by the end of the day on Wednesday, I will choose new winners.

I don’t remember seeing those chocolate chip cheesecake cookie dough bars… I’m sure if I had, I would have made them by now! They look awesome. (And I’m one of the admirers of your spice rack.)

It’s interesting that most of these top choices are desserts…I guess most of your readers have a sweet tooth!

I’ll tell you how you can go wrong with the chocolate overdose cake. You can drop the brownie and cake layers on the floor. Ugh. I did end up making some very delicious chocolate overdose cake balls with the bigger pieces though…
