Boston Cupcake Camp is Coming!!
You all know how much I love cupcakes. They’re part of the reason I even started my blog. So, I’m very excited to announce that CupcakeCamp is coming to Boston!
CupcakeCamp Boston
April 15, 2010 7:00 PM
PA’s Lounge in Union Square, Somerville
If you haven’t heard of CupcakeCamp, it’s basically just a gathering of people who love cupcakes. I’m helping to organize this event and I can’t wait!
Admission is free (although I do expect there might be a line) and everyone is encouraged to bring cupcakes to share or just come and enjoy some FREE CUPCAKES! We’ve been in touch with some local bakeries who will be providing cupcakes as well as local bakers, like myself.
If you’re interested in attending (and I really hope you all are), please check out the CupcakeCamp Boston blog. You can RSVP on the Facebook fan page and if you’re interested in bringing cupcakes, please register here.

I am Jen the Beantown Baker. Engineer by day and baking maven by night. Hubby serves as my #1 fan and official taste tester. We got hitched back in 2006. Barefoot. In the sand. With the waves crashing behind us. It was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.

Although the mousse didn’t hold up nicely on top of the cupcake, the taste is really what matters most. Since everyone loved them, then they are a success!
How convenient to have the frosting and cupcake be one in the same. I think the cupcake looks great.
Oooh! My sister and I are forever in search of the best chocolate cupcake recipe and this looks like a must-try! I love that the batter and frosting are the same… And they’re so pretty too 🙂
Sues
these look good. I kinda want to make extra and pipe some inside the cupcake too….
That sounds awesome! Chocolate mousse and cupcake….I’m in!
I am making these as soon as humanly possible =)
