Portrait Wednesday
Wednesday is portrait day. On my Nikon D40, portrait mode enhances skin tones and focuses on the closest object. I only got to snap this one picture today. I’ll add more tomorrow.
Roxy-cat looks like she’s angry with me. Maybe because I was trying to get her to sit still for a picture.

I am Jen the Beantown Baker. Engineer by day and baking maven by night. Hubby serves as my #1 fan and official taste tester. We got hitched back in 2006. Barefoot. In the sand. With the waves crashing behind us. It was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.

I have cam envy! And that death stare Roxy gives you is evil!!!
Love the action shots! I can’t believe that your KA was spinning when you took the picture. It totally looks stationary. Man, I have camera envy right now!

Great set, lots of variety! The drinking fountain is beautiful. And Roxy is such a diva! Is your camera a Canon? That’s what I have. You might want to mess around in the “Tv” manual setting to play with shutter speeds…you’ll be able to get some action with your mixer that way. Nice work!
Steph – it’s a Nikon D40. I definitely need to read the manual to play with the setting more as far as shutter speed goes.
CB – I know. I kept taking pictures hoping that one would show it in motion. I should have taken it out of child mode and used something else to show a little blur of action. Maybe I’ll try again this weekend.
