I Spy with my Eye… Photo Week!
Two of the most creative people in the world (Amy and Steph) came up with the idea of Photo Week. First, we had Color Week, hosted by Amy. Then Steph hosted Auto-week. Both proved to be challenging and fun learning experiences. I have definitely learned a lot about my camera and myself as a photographer through those first two weeks of Photo Week. I also really enjoyed seeing everyone else’s interpretation of the themes.
And now, it’s my turn to host Photo Week! I was very excited when Steph passed the torch on to me. I thought long and hard about the theme… And now, I present to you Senses Week. That’s right! We’re going to enjoy our 5 sense through photography.
Monday (10/6) – Sight
Tuesday (10/7) – Taste
Wednesday (10/8) – Sound
Thursday (10/9) – Smell
Friday (10/10) – Touch
Photo Week has very few rules. The point is to get out there and use your camera, and observe the world around more than you usually do. To participate, simply take pictures any time this week (starting today). Just be sure to post your pictures on the appropriate day. If you can’t participate every day, that’s fine too. And don’t worry about how advanced of a camera you have. Or how advanced your photography skills are. Just get out there and experiment and see how it goes.
If you email me at beantownbaker[at]gmail[dot]com, I’ll be sure to link to your post on my daily posts.
I’m so glad that you liked these! We really did, too. That’s good to know that cooking on low for 10 hours worked well… I was worried they’d dry out.
yay!

We also used bacon which I think helped with the moisture. They were SO GOOD. We might be making them again this weekend!
Funny – my mom ate baked beans cold, too! On buttered bread. She was born in 35, maybe it’s a generational thing?
I made these when I saw them in your archives. I am a big fan of the Year of Crockpotting, but had somehow missed this one. YUM! It was sooooo good!
