Avon Walk Weekly Update

It’s been more than a week since my last update for my Avon Walk. If you’d like to see my full training calendar, check it out here or on the left sidebar of my blog.

Thoughts on training: Things have been hectic and we had family in town. Most of the weekend was spent entertaining them, so unfortunately I didn’t get much training in… I was able to get in a long walk with some friends yesterday since the weather here has been so nice. I hope that keeps up and I’m planning to get to the gym at least twice this week.

Thoughts on fundraising: The donations keep coming in which is great! So far, all I’ve done is send a mass email to my family and friends back in January. I followed that with another email in February. I also sent a mass email to coworkers mid-February. I’m excited at how responsive everyone has been!

Miles walked last week: 5.5
Minutes doing cardio: 0
Minutes doing cross training or weight lifting: 0
Total $$ raised: $2,040

Thanks to everyone who has donated so far! If you’d like to donate to support my walk, you can make a donation on my Avon Walk page.

Tyler Florence’s Ultimate cookbook is my wow the family staple. For simple dinner with my husband I like Rachel Ray or Giada.

Honestly, my favorite cook book is the one I am creating. It has my grandmothers, my mothers, my friends, and my teachers best recipes! Its filled with the best works of so many people!
