Hershey’s Trip Part 2

Last week, I posted about my first day in Hershey, PA. Today I’ll cover the majority of the second day of the amazing trip sponsored by Hershey’s.

For our second day at Hershey’s, we got to take in the sites throughout the city. We got to go to the Hershey’s Story . The museum provided a glimpse into the life of Milton Hershey and the story of the city of Hershey.

Gotta love hanging out with other bloggers! Everyone had their camera at the ready.

After the museum, we went to the Chocolate Lab. While we were there, we got to learn all about how chocolate is made. I didn’t take notes (sorry). After we learned how chocolate is made, we got to make our own little chocolates, which I also didn’t take a picture of… Bad blogger!

Next up was a Chocolate Tasting. We tried warm liquid chocolates from various countries. It was fun to try to identify the flavors that we were tasting in the chocolate. One of them tasted almost like caramel!

And last but not least, we had an amazing chocolate infused lunch at The Forebay. Everything from our soup to the martini had chocolate in it. Lunch was absolutely amazing and chocolatey. By the end of the meal, I couldn’t even eat dessert. I know, sounds crazy right, but I could only manage one bite of the rich chocolate cake they gave us.

That wraps up this week’s recap of my Hershey’s trip. Next week, I’ll cover the cookies that we baked and the cookie swap we had at the Milton Hershey School.
