Goat Cheese and Spinach Turkey Burgers

Well I didn't get to as many spinach recipes as I had intended this week, but I definitely tried quite a few new spinach recipes. Hubby and I love turkey burgers and these were amazing. I will definitely be making these again.

I served the turkey burgers with carmelized onions and a sun-drieed-tomatoe mayo. The combination was great. The burgers did have a hard time staying together while cooking, so maybe next time I'll throw in an egg or use less spinach.

Goat Cheese and Spinach Turkey Burgers - from Allrecipes.com - makes 4 burgers
1 1/2 pounds ground turkey breast
1 cup frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained - I used 1 package frozen spinach2 tablespoons goat cheese, crumbled

Preheat the oven broiler.

In a medium bowl, mix ground turkey, spinach, and goat cheese. Form the mixture into 4 patties.

Arrange patties on a broiler pan, and place in the center of the preheated oven 15 minutes, or until done.

Sounds good. I recently had something similar...but with feta. I was thinking it would taste good with some dried cranberries too!

I had a similar problem with crumbling too. I think the egg is the best bet. Good luck next time!
